***A Wind Chill Advisory is in place for NW Iowa until Noon.***

2 to 5" of snow has accumulated in Central Iowa. Roads remain slick and snow covered. The latest road conditions can be found here.

West to northwest winds will gradually increase to between 10 and 20 mph with higher gusts. Some blowing snow may develop in open areas as well. Prolonged exposure to the cold can result in frost bite or hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Visibility restrictions in minor blowing and drifting of snow are also possible...especially in open areas. Wind chill values will often be 15 to 25 below zero this morning.

Here are some of the snow totals so far:
Norwalk 4.0"
Des Moines 5.3"
Mason City 3.4"
Indianola 3.0"
Ottumwa 2.5"
Knoxville 2.0"
Fort Dodge 3.5"
