Weather Why: Patchy Fog Over Fields

It was a cold and foggy morning on Wednesday April 15th and as the morning went on, the fog began to mix out. But many people through mid morning started to notice the ice coated trees and grasses, as well as the eerie look of what appeared to be steam rising out of fields in Central Iowa. Meteorologist Megan Salois explains the phenomena of the freezing fog and slowly clearing fog.
