DES MOINES, Iowa – Twice a year, 48 of the 50 states turn their clocks back or forward an hour for Daylight Saving or Standard Time. Those two times also seem to bring debate about why we spring forward and fall back. Meteorologist Gabe Prough explains why we change our clocks twice a year.
