SOGGY SUNDAY: Scattered Showers

Mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers will continue to move through Central Iowa. On occasion there may be a heavier isolated downpour. Most showers will be light. An area of low pressure will slowly cross the state with clouds and scattered light showers rotating around it. Temperatures will reach the low 70s for daytime highs.

Monday, the weather will improve. Skies will become sunny and temperatures will warm significantly to the lower 80s.

The week ahead will be more summer-like with highs in the upper 80s and lots of sunshine.
