Yet Another Winter Storm Brings Ice and Snow to Iowa Roads

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 PM with more snow and blowing snow making travel difficult at times.  Northern Iowa and Kossuth county are under a Blizzard Warning until Midnight.

Visibility will be incredibly low through the early afternoon, especially in northern and southeastern parts of the state. Winds may gust up to 45 mph. The strong NW wind will also pull in colder air. Temperatures will fall from the lower teens into the single digits by the afternoon and evening. The added strong wind will make it feel 15 to 25° below zero throughout the overnight.

It will stay cold on Friday with some sunshine but highs will only be in the low teens and morning lows will be below zero. Wind chills will be well below zero. Two more rounds of snow are expected on Sunday and Monday night into Tuesday.
