REINBECK, Iowa – A round of severe weather produced several reported tornadoes Sunday evening as storms moved across the state.

Several buildings were damaged in the Grundy County community of Reinbeck. Several homes had roofs ripped off but no injuries have been reported.

There were also reports of tornadoes near Winterset and Newton. Minor damage was reported in those areas.

The National Weather Service is dispatching storm survey crews to Tama, Grundy and Jasper Counties on Monday to confirm the tornado reports.

According to Meteorologist Brett McIntyre, another round of storms is possible Monday afternoon into the evening. Some of the storms could be severe.
