It is going to be cloudy, cold, and breezy today. The winds will be brisk out of the north gusting close to 30 MPH. Highs will be in the 50s today and tomorrow with less wind by Friday. Overnight lows will drop to the mid 30s both Friday and Saturday mornings, so some frost may be possible. A Frost Advisory will go into effect overnight for the Metro. Parts of Northern and Western Iowa will go under a Freeze Warning by Friday morning with lows around 30.
We’ll enjoy some sun on Saturday and that will take temperatures to 60 degrees. But clouds quickly fill back in with some rain on Sunday through early Monday morning. The heaviest rain will fall along the southern border of the state. Temperatures will hover in the upper 50s to low 60s.
