Skies will be partly cloudy tonight and temperatures cool but pleasant as we drop to 60 degrees through morning. Thursday will be a windier and warmer day. Highs will reach the upper 80s. A strong cold front will lead to the development of storms late Thursday into early Friday in mainly Northern Iowa. A few storms may produce damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado threat. Friday will be cooler in the low 70s with partly cloudy skies but more clouds rotate in on Saturday with cloudy skies and scattered showers. Highs will only be in the 50s on Saturday. We’ll rebound nicely to the upper 60s again with sunshine on Sunday and stay there for the start of next week.
