The Urbandale All-Stars needed another win or faced going home in their third Little League World Series matchup Monday night.

Urbandale took to the field with a stunning record of 8 and zero in elimination games. Their fans were fired up in Williamsport.

Sammamish, Washington wasted little time. Washington hung two in the top of the first.

Urbandale’s Joshua Neyens scored in the second before Washington added 2 runs.

With the score at 6-2, Urbandale rallied.

Two runs are scored on a Brooke Heinen hit. Urbandale added another on a wild pitch, but down 6-5, the well ran dry.

Washington hang on against an Urbandale team that never quits.

A great run ends Monday night. Urbandale falls, 6-5.
