IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa announced on Thursday that a number of new security measures will be taking place at the Iowa vs. Purdue football game Saturday.

Due to expected snow and rain, the school has banned parking on grass surface parking lots around Kinnick Stadium.

In addition, the university will only allow clear bags into the stadium. There will also be a more intensive screening process and additional police on hand.

The changes fall in line with those made by other universities in light of the recent terror attacks in Paris.

Iowa's game against the Boilermakers kicks off at 11 a.m.
