DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Energy missed out on the playoffs by a few games but that hasn’t kept forward D.J. Stephens out of the spotlight.

Stephens is the best dunker in the NBDL and he’s showing it on a nightly basis. Highlight reel dunk after highlight reel dunk. Stephens boasts a 46 inch vertical, the highest vertical ever recorded at the NBA combine.

Stephens joined the Energy in a trade on March 5 and has exploded for Iowa, averaging 17 points per game. He was only averaging eight points per game before the trade.

Stephens played his college ball at Memphis and says he’s always been able to do crazy dunks but recently its turned in to a viral sensation.
