South Carolina Upsets #9 Iowa State

BROOKLYN, NY – Iowa State struggled shooting all game and fell just short against South Carolina 64-60 Saturday evening.

The Cyclones hit just 1 of 18 three point attempts, and also missed 14 free throws.

Dustin Hogue and Jameel McKay led the way with 15 points apiece in the loss.

Iowa State shot just 35% for the game.  In ISU’s 2 losses this year (Maryland, South Carolina) the Clones have hit just 7 of 45 threes, 16%.  The only other game they hit less than 7 threes, Southern.

The Cyclones finish the non-conference part of the season 10-2, next up Oklahoma State Tuesday night in Ames.
