WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania — After being only one of four U.S. teams remaining in the Little League World Series going into Wednesday’s games, Johnston’s tournament is over.

Iowa fell to Tennessee Wednesday afternoon 14-3 in five innings in an elimination game.

The loss concludes Johnston’s improbable and exciting run in the Little League World Series, which had plenty of highs and lows.

The highlights included an upset win in the opening game against California and a thrilling comeback victory in their third game versus Rhode Island.
