DES MOINES, Iowa — The Principal Charity Classic brings in a lot of professional golfers, even the ones known for their attire as much as their swing.

This year’s tournament has a no doubt top draw in two-time major winner John Daly.

Daly, a 50-year-old rookie on the Champions Tour, was resplendent in black and white checkered pants on Wednesday.

For the Principal Charity Classic Pro-am, Daly hit the links with former University of Iowa and Drake University men’s basketball coach, Dr. Tom Davis.
