The Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones are both ranked in the top 20 of the new Associated Press Top 25 released on Monday.

The Cyclones (11-2) fell to No. 13 after being ranked No. 11 last week, and the Hawkeyes (11-3) enter the AP Top 25 for the first time this year at No. 19.

Iowa State went 1-1 last week as they defeated Coppin State, but followed the victory up with a loss to then-ranked No. 3 Oklahoma in a tight game on the road. The Hawkeyes had a very impressive week, beating then-ranked No. 1 Michigan State and No. 14 Purdue to start the year 2-0 in the Big Ten.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Cyclones came in at No. 13 and the Hawkeyes No. 23.

This week, Iowa State will face Texas Tech and Baylor at home, while Iowa is set to match up with Nebraska at home.
