SILVIS, Illinois -- The John Deere Classic Pro-Am started early Wednesday morning and Bill Murray joined in on the event.
Murray teed off at 8:45 a.m. with a group of five players, including professional golfer D.A. Points. After his round, the american icon commented on the course's conditions.
“I liked the course, I liked it, it suited me," Murray said. "I think I could tear it up someday. I liked it very much, the greens and course were in great shape."
Murray is one of the biggest celebrities to ever play in John Deere Classic Pro-Am and it showed. Fans followed him throughout the day from hole-to-hole and provided a number of "Caddyshack" quotes aloud, with some even wearing Billy Murray-related clothing.
