DES MOINES, Iowa -- Congressman David Young is providing a "one stop shop" for veterans in Iowa to bring attention to the many benefits, programs, and services available to them and their families.

Tuesday morning multiple federal, state, and local agencies gathered in Des Moines to share information about the services they provide. A panel also answered questions about maximizing veterans' benefits.

Young says veterans can walk away from the fair with new information about services they never knew were available.

“That some of our benefits our members don’t know about who have been in the service. So we’ve seen some great stories here where people have walked away realizing that there is more that is deserved of them because of the great service that they’ve given to our country,” said Young.

The next Veterans Care Fair takes place in Treynor at the Treynor Community Center on Thursday.
