WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Black love is resilient and can stand the test of time. History has tried to tell African – Americans otherwise. From family separation during the era of slavery, to black men and women being lynched and killed in violent attacks, to the modern day when incarceration affects the black family five times more than any other race.
WHO 13’s Jodi Long sat down with the owner of Ward Creative Studios, Keesha Ward, on her latest project showcasing the power of black love.
