DES MOINES, IOWA — Something big is coming to Des Moines’ biggest arena: a new name. On Monday morning, officials with the soon-to-be-former Wells Fargo Arena announced a new title sponsor. The arena will be known as Casey’s Center beginning in July 2025.

The change ends the 20-year run of naming rights for Wells Fargo Arena.

The Casey’s Center will sell Casey’s pizza and snacks at events. There will also be signage added to the top of the Wells Fargo Arena reading “Casey’s Center” when the change is official next summer. The contract will be for 10 years.

Casey’s President and CEO talked with local media after the announcement expressing his excitement.

“This is a huge deal for us and we’ve never done a naming rights relationship before. And when we heard that Wells Fargo wasn’t going to renew we just knew that we had to have our name on this venue. It’s such an iconic venue and draws people from all over the region, not just in Iowa, said Darren Rebelez. “…We knew everybody in the Midwest is familiar with Casey’s and we couldn’t think of a better way to really communicate our brand and be part of the community than to get this relationship going.”
