Waukee City Council Expected to Approve Land Agreements for Second School

WAUKEE, Iowa —  The plans for a second high school in Waukee will likely move forward on Monday night.

The City Council is expected to approve land agreements for the school at a meeting.

The new school will be located north of Hickman road near the YMCA.

Officials hope to have it open by 2021.

They say the current high school will be “over capacity” in about two years.
