Warrant Issued in Des Moines Shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police have issued a warrant related to the Des Moines shooting that killed one person and injured another in December 2015.

The Des Moines Police Department issued a material witness warrant for 60-year-old Alf Freddie Clark in connection to the shooting death of 36-year-old Tacono Conner.

Officers were dispatched to 5201 South Union Street at 10:54 p.m. on Dec. 27 to investigate a report of a shooting. Authorities said Conner was dead when officers arrived and 37-year-old Amy Stolki was taken to the hospital for injuries related to the shooting.

Des Moines police announced Clark’s warrant Monday, saying they believe he has information crucial to the investigation and a criminal proceeding.
