With just days until the election, there are some deadlines you should be aware of:
Friday is the deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail. It must to be postmarked no later than Monday, November 5th.
Saturday, Auditor’s offices across the state are open for in-person early voting.
Monday is the last day you can vote absentee in person, before the election.
Tuesday is the election. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
You can register to vote on election night. To register, you need to bring a photo ID and a utility bill, or something else to prove your address.
The state is seeing about 20,000 requests for absentee ballots per day.
He says Iowa is on track to meet or surpass the 2008 early voting number of 545,000.
