AMES, Iowa — An Iowa State student who battled childhood obesity will share her story on Thursday night’s Biggest Loser.
Allie Lansman, 20, is from Fort Dodge. She says she lost 50-pounds by exercising and eating right.
Lansman is now majoring in dietetics.
She’ll be on the Biggest Loser as one of four youth ambassadors called, “change agents” with the national 4-H healthy living management team.
She’ll be joined by fellow Iowa State student, Laura Meany who majors in agricultural studies.
The students will be at the Biggest Loser ranch as former finalists finish a cross country ride. The ride started at the national 4-H youth conference center in Maryland to encourage children to live active and healthy lives.
The Biggest Loser airs Thursday at 7 p.m. on Channel 13.
