The grace period for Polk County drivers comes to an end this week.

Tuesday is the last day you’ll get a warning if you speed past a mobile speed unit. Wednesday any drivers speeding past the cameras will get a ticket in the mail.

You have to be going ten miles over the post speed limit to get a ticket. The fines begin at $65 and go up from there.

When the fines begin Wednesday, the cameras will be in the 6500 block of Northeast 41st Avenue and the 4300 block of Northeast 38th Street.
