The community of Eagle Grove is giving back on Sunday to honor a victim of a deadly tornado.

Aaron Eilerts and three other boy scouts were killed in a tornado in June of 2008.

The tornado hit a boy scout camp in Harrison County.  Shortly after, then-governor Chet Culver declared February 24th to be Aaron Eilerts Day of Service.

A number of activates are planned including creating pillow cases that will be donated to area hospitals.  Eilerts was working on a similar project when he was killed.

The community is also hosting a food drive for Haiti.
