A Wapello County Judge will hear the second trial of an Agency man accused of killing his pregnant wife.
The first trial for Seth Techel ended in a hung jury in Wapello County earlier this year.
His second trial is set to begin in August in Henry County, but last Friday Techel’s attorney filed a motion to have the judge presiding over the case removed for the retrial, claiming bias.
This week the court denied that motion.
The trial will continue as scheduled.
