TAX CUTS: Branstad To Sign Bill

Gov. Terry Branstad is set to sign the largest tax cut in Iowa history Wednesday.

Senate File 295 provides $4.9 billion in tax relief over ten years.

Part of it, is 10-percent cut in commercial and industrial property taxes, coupled with $125 million in property tax credits for small business.

The bill also saves Iowa tax payers approximately $90 million in annual income tax.

Gov. Branstad will sign the bill Wednesday afternoon in Hiawatha.
