One of the biggest days for sports can be a challenge for our stomachs.

Super Bowl Sunday marks the second largest food consumption day of the year, right behind Thanksgiving and one Iowa bar and restaurant tops the list of places to watch the big game.

Trip Advisor says Shorts Burger and Shine in Iowa City, co-owned by NFL kicker Nate Kaeding, is the perfect place to watch Super Bowl 47.

Kaeding’s restaurant is just one of many owned by current and former NFL players on the list.

“These sports guys, they like to eat well,” says Trip Advisor’s Wendy Sachs, “and so they’re building restaurants that have some fantastic menus, but also have the other bells and whistles that are going to bring in a football crowd.”
