Marshalltown police have arrested one person in connection with a stolen safe investigation.

In July a group of people took the safe from a storage room at an apartment building in Marshalltown. The owner says the safe contained a quarter-of-a-million dollars worth of silver bars, rare coins and bills.

Police say they recovered the missing safe but it was empty.

Friday afternoon police arrested 37-year-old Adam Beem. He is charged with second degree theft and criminal conspiracy.

Police have arrests warrants out for 38-year-old Christoper Mason, 39-year-old Giles Clark, and 37-year old Renae Mason in connection with the case as well.
