The Polk County Board of Supervisors will take the next step in bringing more traffic cameras to the metro on Tuesday.

The board is considering the use of two mobile speed cameras similar to the one currently used by the Des Moines Police Department.

The Polk County cameras would be positioned in rural areas of the county.

They are expected to approve a contract agreement with camera operators, Gatso USA.
