Bookworms at the Iowa City Public Library can no longer catch some Z’s when they cozy up with a good book.

The Library Board approved a measure Thursday that bans people from sleeping in the library.

The Library staff recommended the change because some patrons complained that it made them uncomfortable when others were snoozing the day away. 

A similar recommendation was made in 2001, but was turned down.
