Benjamin Hoffman, 23, is charged with 11-counts of sexual abuse, one count of sexual exploitation by a school employee and two counts of providing alcohol to a minor.

Hoffman bonded out of Dallas County jail August 2nd. A written plea of not guilty was entered in the case last week.

West Des Moines police say Hoffman had sex with a 13-year-old Urbandale Middle School student and a 14-year-old former student while he was student-teaching at Norwalk Middle School.

Hoffman was placed on leave by the school district.
