Parents in one local middle school are furious after a teacher showed porn to a class full of kids. Twelve-year old Bridget Reese says she was in social studies class at Collins-Maxwell Middle School in Maxwell Tuesday when the teacher, Todd Christensen opened up a file on his school issued I-pad, projecting pornography on to a screen on the wall in front of the class.  “He clicks it and like a video popped up but it was paused then he clicks out of it and he clicks back into it because he didn’t know what it was so he studied it for a minute or two.” Reese says.

Her mother, Melissa Hemphill, says the incident had a serious impact on her daughter.  “She’s..she gets very embarrassed about the situation.” Hemphill says, “She cries a lot.”

The principal and superintendent have not returned our calls for comment.  Parents and students tell us Christensen was not in school Wednesday or Thursday, but did return Friday.
