SCHOOL CUTS: Board Discussing Staff Reductions

West Des Moines school leaders are expecting hundreds of teachers and parents to attend the school board’s meeting Monday night.

School board members will address cutting teaching positions. Administrators think the cuts could be necessary to deal with a budget shortfall.

The meeting begins at 7:15 the Learning Resource Center at 3550 Mills Civic Parkway.
