Authorities in southeast Iowa are releasing more information about human remains found last month.

Two kids riding bikes found the remains in a ditch between the towns of Lockridge and Rome.

A forensic anthropologist assisting officials with the case says the remains are of a woman between the ages of 24 and 32.

She died in the summer or fall of 2011.  A cause of death hasn’t been released.

The state crime lab is doing DNA testing on the remains.
