AMES, Iowa — The Iowa Board of Regents will discuss pulling all three state universities together for a joint-college on the former AIB College site in Des Moines.

A recent consultant report shows downtown Des Moines is the best place for all three state universities to come together on one campus.

The idea came about after the University of Iowa was gifted the AIB College of Business.

The report also considered four other metro locations — weighing the pros and cons of each.

The regents will discuss the full findings at next week’s meeting.
