IOWA -- The USDA is warning Iowans about a possible salmonella risk.
The department tweeted out a warning about chicken salad products sold at Fareway stores. The product was sold in plastic deli containers with a Fareway store deli label. The problem was discovered after reports of illness in Iowa.
The warning was also issued for Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
