DES MOINES, Iowa  —  One of our most basic needs is food.

Iowa’s unemployment rate is down to its lowest level in 17 years and companies say they struggle to find the workers they need, yet organizations that feed the hungry say they cannot keep up with demand.

Michelle Book, CEO of the Food Bank of Iowa, talks to Political Director Dave Price about how this is possible.
