One prominent Iowan now has a new life motto.
Jamie Pollard has to deal with a lot of stress, which truly became clear for the ISU Athletics Director after he suffered a heart attack last year. So if you want a Pollard lifestyle you've got to be aware of your stress.
But Pollard, who has had the sports gig since 2005, says he is better-equipped to handle stress now, especially now that the Cyclones are advancing in the NCAA Tournament.
A serious health incident for a man who considered himself to be in pretty good shape will do that to you.
"I'm going to enjoy this for what it is, not for what it's not," Pollard said.
You might say that's his new motto.
