A crowd gathered outside the Dallas County Courthouse in Adel Wednesday morning. They waited to hear Representative Paul Ryan, Republican Vice Presidential Nominee, speak.

Ryan campaigned at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday afternoon. He reached out to college students talking about the national debt and why it’s difficult for college graduates to find jobs. He says the health care reform law is a big reason why.

He told the crowd, “It’s because the Chamber of Commerce recently surveyed small biz across America and they said because of Obamacare, 75% of them are much less likely to hire new workers.  Obamacare is one of the greatest threats to Medicare and Obama care is a great threat to job creation.”

President Barack Obama will be back in Iowa on Friday. He plans to stop in Iowa City with the First Lady, Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden. The event will take place on the Pentacrest in the middle of the University of Iowa campus around 5 p.m. Tickets are available through campaign offices.
