The first Presidential Debate Wednesday night gave President Obama and Governor Romney a chance to address some of the ads seen on TV, a few of the gaffes of this presidential race and lets them explain their plan to make America better in the next four years.

During the debates set at the University of Denver, candidates addressed the economy, health care and the role of government.

The event was moderated by Jim Lehrer, executive editor of the PBS NewsHour.

The second presidential debate will fall on October 16th at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and candidates will respond to audience members’ questions on foreign and domestic topics.  The third is October 22nd at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida and will focus on foreign policy.
