DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa Congressman Steve King, a 9-term Kiron Republican, is under fire from leaders in his own party following his remarks about white nationalism and white supremacy. But this isn’t the first time that he questioned whether the meaning of the term, “white nationalism,” was a derogatory term.
