A new poll of Iowa voters shows Governor Branstad’s support has been slipping recently.
A poll released Monday by Public Policy Polling shows Branstad’s lead on democratic challenger Jack Hatch has slipped to five points.
The poll also found the governor’s approval rating has fallen into negative territory.
Of those polled, 43-percent said they approve of the job the governor is doing while 45-percent disapproved and 12-percent were unsure.
