GOP Presidential Contenders Set for Iowa Visit

DES MOINES, Iowa — Two possible Republican presidential candidates are returning to Iowa this week.

Texas Governor Rick Perry will be the keynote speaker at the North Iowa Conservative Event Dinner on Saturday.

The dinner starts at 4 p.m. at Algona High School. Perry is expected to take the stage at 7:15 p.m. This will be Perry’s third Iowa visit since finishing fifth in the 2012 caucuses

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be in Des Moines for a breakfast Thursday. He is set to raise money for the Republican Governors Association. He will then head to Davenport that evening to raise money for Governor Branstad.
