Democrats have started another bus tour across Iowa to continue their push to get you to vote early.

The latest tour began Tuesday morning in front of the State Capitol Building.

Former Lt. Gov. Patty Judge joined DNC Vice Chair and Minneapolis mayor RT Rybak, along with Gov. Brian Schweitzer of Montana for the kickoff of the tour.

Rybak says while the president is in Washington, D.C. he’s actually still in Iowa, too.

“The president is fighting the disaster in Washington but his heart is here in Iowa, a state that gave him his start. That looked him in the eye and said ‘We’re going to let you lead this country’ and the state that once again is gonna say the president is the right guy for the job,” says Rybak.

The bus left Des Moines for scheduled stops in Ames and Council Bluffs.
