Electronic cigarettes will be regulated in Iowa the same as all other smoking products.

A bill that would ban the sale off all e-cigarettes and chemicals to anyone under the age of 18 even if there isn’t tobacco in the device was given final approval Tuesday.

It now goes to the governor’s office.

If Governor Branstad signs it, the new law would begin July 1st.
