REMSEN, Iowa — A missing Iowa woman has been located in Vermont after she notified authorities of her location.

Nicole Trometer, 27, of Remsen was reported missing Sunday morning. She had been last seen in Lemars with 34-year-old Daniel Kittredge. Police were searching for Trometer and Kittredge.

Trometer contacted Iowa law enforcement officials at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to let them know she willingly traveled to Vermont with Kittredge.
