A Clive police officer says he’s not guilty of a charge filed against him.
Forty-seven-year-old Lieutenant John Brodersen entered a not guilty plea to the charge of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.
The charges stem from an incident at a party in January. The victim claims Brodersen inappropriately touched her underneath her clothes.
The lieutenant is on leave until the case is decided.
