Friday marks the 71st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Governor Branstad is asking all Iowans to lower their flags in recognition of the 2,400 Americans who were killed.

The Hawaii Naval base was attacked by Japan on December 7th, 1941.

A remembrance ceremony will be held at the Gold Star Museum at Camp Dodge Friday morning.
