Parts of Iowa Facing Drought Conditions

IOWA  —  Despite all the recent rain in parts of Iowa, some areas of the state could still use more.

Approximately 2% of southern Iowa is facing a severe drought, including most of Davis County and parts of Appanoose, Monroe, Wapello, Van Buren, and Lee Counties.

The orange area pictured indicates a severe drought, the tan depicts moderate drought, and the yellow shows where conditions are abnormally dry.
