One Killed, Four Injured in Marshall County Crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Iowa – One person is dead following a crash in Marshall County Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 3:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Marsh Avenue in rural Marshall County.

A pickup truck driven by Frank Glenn, 50, of Marshalltown, was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line and struck an SUV. Glenn was killed in the crash. Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Geoffrey Buchanan, 35, of Hubbard, Haley Lawrence, 18, of Eldora, Haley Dilley, 18, of Radcliffe, and David Akers, 39, of Eldora, were all taken to area hospitals.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
